Ron Robinson

Commitment to Service Before Self

Ron served as a Military Police Officer from 1989 to 1993. He belongs to the American Legion Post in Utica and Shelby Township and previously sat on the Utica Police and Fire Pension Board. Most recently, he was a member of the Utica City Council, where he served until December 2024.

Before being elected to the State House, Ron served as a City Councilman for the City of Utica. Ron was encouraged to run for City Council after concerns regarding how local governments handled the Covid-19 restrictions.

Ron is a life-long Macomb resident After graduation, Ron made the most important decision of his life and joined the United States Marine Corps., serving as military police for 5 years.

Ron currently lives in Utica with his wife, Janice. They have three adult children. Ron still owns two small businesses, one for drone video production and the other as a Realtor.
