Selfridge Air Base

Representative Robinson is proud to deliver real results for Selfridge Air National Guard Base. Robinson secured $26 million in the FY26 Budget to prepare for the F-35 mission to Selfridge. This sets Macomb to be the Midwest’s premier hub for aerial superiority.

Road Funding

Ron's plan for roads invested an additional $2 billion annually in both local roads and highways by cutting wasteful spending and ending corporate handouts. While most of Lansing is focused on political gimmicks, Ron focused on real results: safe streets, smooth commutes, and roads we can finally be proud to drive on.

Red Run River

Ron also secured funding for the construction of a new odor control facility to address sanitary sewer odor along the 15 Mile Road and ITC corridors. He also helped preserve critical sewer infrastructure, finally providing relief for an issue that has been ongoing for decades.

Wins for Veterans and Police

Rep. Robinson is also proud to deliver real results for those who’ve served our country. As Chair of the Veterans Subcommittee on Appropriations, he’s helped secure major investments to support Michigan’s veterans and first responders, including $4 million for a grant program to renovate VFW halls, American Legions, and other veteran nonprofits, and $250,000 for Helmets to Hardhats to help veterans transition into skilled trades careers.

He also backed funding for the National Guard Benefit Fund to assist guardsmen with tuition, childcare, and healthcare, and delivered $250,000 in new police equipment for the Utica Police Department.
